Since his childhood, Ziying has been fond of art that can arouse the emotions of others. At the age of ten, he wrote his first short piece of music on the piano to express his love for his grandparents. It wasn't until he became a photographer that he began to explore the use of poetic and abstract imagery to express emotion and narrative, giving his photographs a rhythmic, poetic melody like his music.

While studying art in San Francisco, he became fascinated with fine art photography and digital printing. He transforms images from digital to physical and brings soul to photographic work.
